It's a take away Indian food joint but the best this part of inner west and Flemington. I loved their finger food such as the lamb and chicken rolls. The price for the ready made deep fried rolls have gone up a fair bit compared to buying the frozen in the freezer. Still it's delicious!
Service wise there is usually a wait and would be good if they can improve their website to include availability of their dishes as only some dishes are on offer on weekends.

The much talked about Ram's situated in Homebush West near the station.. Srilanka vibes.
Awesome reasonably priced meal. Staff could be a little friendly. I love their mixtures as well. My Indian food cravings satisfied!!
Tried string hoppers koththu and roti koththu. Loved the string hopper koththu. Plenty of Sri lankan short eats and tried all of them. Very well priced and worth for every single penny spent. In one instant the susium we tried made and bit sick not sure if it was cooked in bad oil or something not right. Overall happy with cooked food.
I'm pleased to have found this place. Always busy, queues out the door, very basic decor - it's a takeaway joint - but the food is interesting. The lamb rolls are crisp to bite into and so meaty and flavourful (building up my spice tolerance!). Had a boneless chicken curry + veg rice for $8.. great value, nice variety on the plate for 1 meal. Strongly recommend you take another reviewer's advice and try the kothu rotty! I did! The dish was new to me and I enjoyed it. Has a good selection of sweets also. The cashiers are busy but are kind enough to answer questions if you don't know what things are. I'm slowly working my way through the menu and will definitely be back
I wish they open early on Sat & Sun. Wish Sambar is hot. Indeed meant to be take away. But Food is awesome especially dal vada and medhu vada. Oh yes, mini samosa and veg roll is you are lucky to get it hot are worth trying. Value for money !!
